Welcome to Starkids Childcare, a nurturing and enriching environment located right here in the Tukwila community of the Greater Seattle Area. As a fully licensed and insured provider, our primary goal is to offer a safe, warm, and stimulating space where children from 3 months to 12 years can thrive, learn, and grow just like they would at home. We believe childhood is a journey of discovery, and our mission is to provide the perfect foundation for those little adventures.

Our Curriculum & Approach

We follow a play-based, emergent curriculum approach, focusing on hands-on activities that foster curiosity, social-emotional intelligence, problem-solving skills, and resilience. We use the child's interests to guide our daily themes and projects.

• Daily Life: Our days are structured with a balance of focused learning time and plenty of open, self-directed play. We spend time outdoors every day, rain or shine, in our large, fully fenced backyard.

• The Space: Our childcare is run out of a dedicated section of our home. It includes a bright group room, and a fully equipped kitchen used exclusively for meal preparation.

• Nutrition: We provide nutritious, homemade breakfast, lunch, and two snacks daily, focusing on whole foods and seasonal fruits and vegetables. We are happy to accommodate common allergies.
